When my babies were 5 months old, I started to do a lot of research,

I realised that there is three ways of letting babies start their solid.
Baby lead weaning (BLW), Traditional Weaning (TW) and Finger food (FF).

To me, I understand myself well that I can't really let baby do 100% BLW. Hence, I choosed traditional weaning and finger food.
As a start, I gave my babies try avocado puree, apple puree. Research shows that it is good to introduce one food for at least three days.

Then, I started to introduce porridge. Types of porridge that I cook are Anchovies and spinach porridge, carrot and potato porridge.
Sometimes, I feel that I am running out of idea of what type of porridge to cook for her.

As for Finger food, I will let my babies to hold and eat (play) with steamed brocolli, steamed carrot and cut apples.
I also gave my babies eat baby biscuit, rice crackers. This is when I am eating, and I will train my babies to sit at the high chair and eat together with us.

But of cos, in the early months, like 7th months, she will play with the food more than eating. The whole floor was messy.
I don't really mind of cleaning up. I gave my babies the silicone bib, so most of the food will drop to the bib.
However, sometimes i also crack my head to think is there any other variety of food that I can cook for my babies besides porridge?
How to make sure that my babies receive all the nutrients from the food they eat?
