Credit card fraud

I really can't believe that this will happen to me. I used to teach my students must beware of credit card fraud, do not share your credit card details with anyone. 

This morning, 9ish I received a SMS from Ambank saying that my credit card has been charged 9.11USD. Without delay, I picked up the phone to call Ambank helpline. 

While I was choosing the language, I received the second SMS stated that my card has been charged rm 4 from Expedia Malaysia. When I just about to tell the operator my card details, my card has been charged the third time, RM 3500 for Expedia malaysia again.

I was panicked!  I told the operator to block my card immediately.

However, the operator told me that the amount has been charged to my card, they can't stop the payment now and I can only write the dispute letter for them to investigate.

If the amount is not done by me, I will get the amount reversed. If the amount is done by me then I will be penalized for rm 20. What is the thing that they are saying, if it is done by me, why I want to call to block the card?

The investigation will take around 2 weeks. They want to issue me a replacement card, I really do not have any confidence to use any credit card for now. So I rejected. If their feedback to me is unsatisfied, I will reconsider whether to use Ambank...

This is not using the card to go to any shop to buy goods, this is buying some services like flight, hotel etc, because it is Expedia. I am sure they can trace the person who used my card. 

Unlike if the person go into a shop to buy the product, sign the card and leave, they can't trace and the product is sold, can't trace back.

Praying to God to arrange this credit card fraud matter for me, let the investigations go smoothly and I will sure not pay for that amount that I have not used before.

Preparation through Internet

For our wedding, a lot of arrangement were done through Internet. We did not even meet the provider face-to-face. Here, we would like to share with you our experience on booking and paying online for a few services during our wedding.

1) Caricatures - Bearlim Design (https://www.facebook.com/bearlim.design)

Our themes is based on Ralph and Vanneloppe from Wreck-it-Ralph cartoon. The service from BearLim Design is good. She submitted the product on time. Basically we discussed through Facebook and emails, banked in to her through Maybank2u, and received our full version of the caricatures design after a month. She allowed us to have 3 amendments. Basically, we just discussed with her our ideas and the design we would like to have, provided her our photos and she will design it.

2) Evening wedding gown - Soyamo.com (https://www.facebook.com/soyamo.fanpage)

For my wedding gown, I noticed Soyamo.com from Facebook. They specialized in online clothing and one of the wholesaler in Malaysia. I chooses the gown, booked it online and paid through credit card.

There is free delivery charges if it is exceeded RM 200 per order. After a week of ordering, the clothes will arrive at your door step. Their services are professional and we normally communicate my doubts and requirements through Facebook.

3) Wedding cake - Sweet Temptations Homemade Cakes

As for the wedding cake, I saw this page through Facebook too. I then discussed with the lady in charge through Facebook on the requirement of the cake. After then, we paid 50% of the total amount through Maybank2u, fill in the form on the design, the flavor of the cake and delivery address. 

They deliver within Penang Island. The cake was made of Royal Icing with vanilla butter. Our guests told us that the cake was nice to eat.

Wedding preparation 19/10/2013

It has been some time I did not write some posts here...I know I should come here more often, to share my daily life especially my preparation for wedding posts. So that I will remember everything when I am old. 

Anyway, now is the final preparation for wedding and yet still have a lot of things to do and prepare....

Will have two weeks off from work soon, so have a lot of things to complete before I go.

Wesak day, dear proposed to me in front of my parents. July, both parents met and we went to St. Anne's festival to get the blessing from god.

11/7/2013, we took our prewedding photos at Dior Pink Bridal House at Jalan Ipoh. I liked their service very much. I like my makeup artist, Milk that made me so beautiful on the day. I liked Edwards my hairstylist, I like the hair style that he made for me. I liked the photos taken by Eugune and Gary.

In Overall, I am satisfied with their service and it is really worth the value of money.

Then in end of July, we also went to JPN to display for 21 days before the actual registration.

20/8/2013, we went to Bali to have our prewedding honeymoon for 5 days. It was great as we took the chance to take some photos to create save the date video.

We did all the invitation cards, created it in our style, special and sweet.

I bought my reception gown at Sayamo.com and dear tailor-made his at the Summit.

Now we are really looking forward to 19/10/2013.

EE treatment for right face

Today, due to semester break, I went to EE treatment for the right side of my face.....this time is different beauty house, the beautician is good enough to give me 35 Biji with the price of rm280.

I asked her why in Klang people can get rm280 for a bottle, they insisted not to give me 1 bottle....

A week after EE Treatment

A week after EE Treatment, most of the wound have dried up and dropped. It is recovering very fast with the help of aloe Vera gel. Thinking of when to proceed for the right face.

Today went to Bangsar South, another location for MSC status companies setting up over there. New n very high end.

EE Treatment Day 5

Today is the fifth day after my EE Treatment. Most of the wounds have dried up and some of the brown skin have dropped after I washed my face.

I noticed that the wounds are getting smaller with just a small red spot. It is recovering very fast. I apply Aloe Vera Gel a few times in a day.

Today I went to Sunway Pyramid for Sakae Sushi with a colleague because he helped me in the conference publication.

This is the first time I tried Sakae Udon.

EE Treatment Day 3

Just to record down my face after 3 days of the treatment.

Today we went to Digital Mall at Seksyen 14 to buy 3G broadband router. Rm 70

We like to eat at this roast chicken rice stall. It is yummy delicious, cheap and they are very friendly. The aunty told us that if the curry is not enough can refill.

Like this with one plate of rice, two bowls of soup with eggs, roast chicken, sausage, roast pork costed rm 14++. Reasonable price.

At night, we had dinner at 二嫂酿豆腐。
We like to eat the 酸菜汤。Rm6
The 酿豆腐干costs rm1.10 per piece.

They served the food in less than 5 minutes.

Then we had 龟苓膏at 恭和堂。
Rm11 for the big one. It will come with honey to reduce the bitterness.

After that we did our monthly groceries at Tesco Kepong Village Mall.

Simply and happy day.

EE Treatment Day 2

Today is the second day after my EE Treatment.

Just want to share this post to show the progress of my face.

We went to Mid Valley for lunch. We took KTM and today we were very lucky because we did not wait for very long for the train.

We had Fish Manhattan platter set. Rm 86.68

I wore this blouse, costed £3 from Primark. Cheap with good quality.

Happy to have a good day together.

Herbaline EE Treatment

Went to herbaline to do my facial today.

Since my face is full of syinrigoma (oil cysts) 肉瘤。They recommended me to remove them through EE treatment. For further details see http://www.herbaline.com.my/en/eetreatment.html
It costs me RM 280 to remove 22 cysts.

But I read from other blog, one lady she did it for RM 280 for around 28 cysts. But according to her, it is RM 280 for a bottle of the medicine to remove all the cysts and normally it can remove around 28 cysts depending on the size of it.

Can anyone who have done it before tell me whether is RM 280 for 22 cysts or RM 280 for one bottle of the cream to remove it?

I asked the beautician to talk to me so that I will not feel the pain. Actually it was not pain but just a second of feeling like pinch by a needle.

It took about 15 mins to remove my cysts on the left cheeks. Beautician Jess said that I have to apply a lot of Herbaline oxygen gel to avoid scar. It will dry within 3 weeks.

If it is good effect, I will proceed with the right side of my face. It will spread and grow a lot if I don't remove them. It is true, it felt tat it is getting a lot. It is a kind of Genetic sickness.

For those who do the EE Treatment for RM 280, they are entitled to have their next normal facial treatment for RM 48.

Today I spent rm600++ for facial 85, eet 280, aloe Vera gel, toner, freckle cream and sunscreen.

When I took shower today, I felt a little bit of pain on my left face. Hopefully it will recover soon without any scars!

So the shoulder massage facial costs RM 85. But I just felt that the beautician d not complete the whole cycle for eye massage. And the shoulder massage also very fast and not 3 times.

I have done Herbaline massage for the past 10 years so I am familiar with the style and stroke.
